How to get a dormitory contract?

  • In order to apply for a room at our dormitory, you first need to fill out an online application which you can find here: http://dorm.emu.ee/en/room-application/. Make sure you enter only correct information when filling in the application form. Applications containing false information will be deleted. You can have only one application in the waiting list at a time.

  • Once you have submitted your application, you cannot change the information in it so if you need to do that, write to the accommodation manager or delete the application and send a new one.

  • After submitting your room application, you will be put in our waiting list in chronological order and we will assign you a place as soon as possible. The speed how fast you will get an offer will vary depending on what month it is and the length of the waiting list. If you need the offer by a certain date (due to Visa application), please let the accommodation manager know ahead of time.

  • When we have found a suitable room for you, we will make you a room offer in the Campus system. You will get a notification on your e-mail about that. Sometimes these automatic messages go to the spam folder so please check that as well. You can always check your messages by directly logging into Campus!

  • To accept the room offer from your side, you should log into your Campus account and accept the offer there. Without accepting the room offer, we cannot create a dormitory contract for you. When you log in, you will see the Applications tab on the left side menu. Open that menu and you will see the details of your offer. It will display the room number and information about the room (price, deposit, room number). If you have any questions, feel free to contact the manager BEFORE you accept the offer!

  • Once you have accepted the offer, the accommodation manager will need to confirm it from her side and then she will send you the deposit invoice. Please be patient as it might take some time (if you accept the offer on a weekend, you will have to wait until Monday to receive a reply).

  • Once you receive the deposit invoice, your contract has been confirmed and you can view it by logging into Campus. You will also receive a message there with some important information for your check-in.

  • You can download the pdf version of the contract from your Campus menu if you need to use it for your Visa application.

  • You can sign the contract when you arrive at the dormitory reception desk, which is open 24/7.
Make sure you have read all the rent contract terms and conditions as well as the house rules BEFORE you arrive at the reception. By signing the contract, you are agreeing to follow all the rules and regulations of the dormitory.

FULL TERMS OF THE CONTRACT: http://dorm.emu.ee/en/for-tenants/contracts-and-invoices/lease-agreement-terms-and-conditions/

    HOUSE RULES: http://dorm.emu.ee/en/for-tenants/house-rules/

  • One copy of the contract will be given to you when you check into the dormitory. You will need your rent contract for going to the Police and Border Control office to register yourself as a resident, so don't throw it away!
