The hostel rooms are situated on the first floor of Torn dormitory. There are 11 twin rooms, 1 single room and 1 three person room. All rooms are divided into apartments of two rooms each and each apartment has a kitchen, a shower room and a bathroom. All hostel visitors can use the laundry room on our basement floor, where washing one machineful of laundry (including machine drying) costs 5€. You can pay for the washing both in cash and by card payment at the reception. All rooms have free wifi and a TV.

The bedding is already included in the price of the room.
Parking is free around the building, except in a few specially marked places (you can ask the staff to confirm where it is OK to park in order to avoid a parking ticket from the city).

We do not offer any meals at the hostel. Guests can bring their own food and cook it using the kitchen in their apartment (which includes a stovetop. pot, pan, tableware, cutlery and an electric kettle). There are two shops (Selver and Rimi) and a fast food restaurant Karibu nearby. 


Pets are not allowed in our hostel.

Admission to Torn dormitory for 2022/2023


As of 03.08.2022 Torn dormitory is SOLD OUT for the upcoming autumn semester. Only students accepted to University of Life Sciences can fill out new room application forms and put themselves in the room waiting list in case someone else cancels their contract or room offer. There are no available single rooms, so it will be possible to apply for "1 place in twin room".

We will not make any new room offers in August/September to students of any other universities or non-students.
